Our History
A Legacy Of Excellence And Character
Celilies Foundation School is a Montessori Preschool and Primary School founded in 2013 by Mrs. Okpala L. with a vision to provide a nurturing environment where every child can learn, grow, and discover their unique potential. The school's journey began at Otubu Estate, Satellite Town, Lagos, where it quickly earned a reputation for academic excellence, strong values, and child-centered education.
From its inception, Celilies Foundation School embraced the Montessori philosophy, combining hands-on learning, creativity, and critical thinking to develop confident, independent, and well-rounded learners. The school has remained committed to creating a safe and inspiring atmosphere where children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and excel.
As the school community continued to grow, a second campus was established in 2019 along Old Nitel Road, Satellite Town, Lagos, extending the school's vision and quality educational experience to more families. This expansion reflected the trust and confidence parents placed in the institution over the years.
Today, with two thriving campuses, Celilies Foundation School continues to provide a strong educational foundation that prepares pupils not only for academic success but also for lifelong learning, leadership, and responsible citizenship. The school remains dedicated to raising children who are confident, compassionate, and equipped to succeed in an ever-changing world.
